A large navy blue circle dominates the warm beige ground alongside vertical line forms and red collage elements, a bold and spare abstraction that lands on biological and anatomical order.
Drawn to scale from the recorded dimensions, against a sofa. Not a photograph of an installation.

A commanding navy blue circle anchors the composition against a warm beige ground, its weight and scale recalling both astronomical diagrams and the enso of Zen brushwork, a form simultaneously cosmic and intimate. The circle's edge is not a clean mechanical arc but carries the subtle pressure of a hand-drawn mark, suggesting intention over perfection, breath over precision. Vertical blue line forms descend near the circle's perimeter, their quiet regularity landing on cellular structures, sutures, or the ruled grids of scientific notation, as though the circle is being measured, charted, or held in place by an act of record-keeping. At the upper left, a fragment of red collage punctuates the composition with organic urgency: a shard of color that reads alternately as wound, bloom, or specimen label. The red element disrupts the cool restraint of the navy and beige palette, introducing heat and bodily association, skin, blood, scar tissue, without naming them directly. The overall sparseness of the composition is deliberate: negative space functions as silence between marks, allowing each element to carry disproportionate symbolic weight. 'Look Beyond' operates in the territory between biological illustration and pure abstraction, inviting the viewer to resist literal interpretation and instead attend to what the forms feel like: cyclic, vulnerable, measured, alive.
